General information
How do I choose the right WebCamper for my road trip?
WebCamper offers a wide range of vehicles, from vans to luxurious motorhomes. The fleet also includes some caravans. The following steps can help you to find the perfect WebCamper for your road trip:
· Number of travelers: Vans are more suitable for groups of 2 to 3, while other motorhomes can accommodate up to 6 people.
· Type of journey: The type of journey significantly influences the choice of the right camper, as different regions and travel styles impose specific demands on the vehicle. In southern countries such as Italy, where narrow roads and small alleyways are typical, compact campers are an excellent choice due to their agility and ease of maneuverability. For offroad adventures or trips through rugged terrain, such as in Scandinavia or the Balkans, a camper with four-wheel drive from the ‘Expedition’ category is recommended to ensure maximum safety and flexibility. For longer journeys focused on comfort, spacious campers from the ‘Comfort’ or ‘Luxury’ categories, equipped with extensive features, are ideal for making long distances and overnight stays more comfortable. Therefore, the choice of camper should always be tailored to the specific requirements of the planned journey.
· Travel destination: All our motorhomes are suitable for trips to warmer countries. If you’d like an additional parking air conditioning, this can be booked as an additional option with selected motorhomes. If you’re planning a road trip to a winter destination, you can choose a motorhome specifically designated as suitable for winter.
· Dog friendly: Dogs are permitted in specific vehicles explicitly marked as dog friendly. You can easily find these options using the filter function by selecting "Dog friendly." Each vehicle allows a maximum of one dog for an additional fee of €150 to cover extra cleaning costs. If you have another pet or more than one dog, feel free to contact us.
What are the driving licence requirements?
All vehicles can be driven with a Class B driver's license, except for those where the description explicitly states a different license category. For such vehicles, a Class C1 driver's license is required. Independent of the age, the driver must have been in possession of a valid B driving license for at least 6 months. This applies to all drivers who drive the vehicle during the rental period.
